Research Assistant/Research Technician

TETMedical Inc. is an exciting and pioneering nanomedicine startup company with wide applications in precision diagnostics and treatment of disease. Based on groundbreaking innovations originating at Cornell University and new discoveries, we recently received significant grant funding and also successfully completed Seed Series A fundraising. We now are expanding our multidisciplinary team, and seek a Research Assistant/Research Technician in enzyme biochemistry and molecular nanobiotechnology.

Training and laboratory work will be performed in beautiful Ithaca, New York, in the heart of the Finger Lakes Region.

The primary responsibility of this full-time position is to support our efforts to develop and produce enzyme-based, ultra-rapid diagnostic tests for a number of applications, with initial focus on stroke and traumatic head injuries, such as concussions. Additional applications currently being developed include diagnostics to identify specific viral infections and detect/quantify biomarkers for organ function and specific forms of cancer.

Qualifications: B.S./M.S. degree in a related field. We require experience with lab/bench work in cell and/or molecular biology, with additional experience in biochemistry and cell/bacterial culture being viewed favorably. Experience in notebook keeping and reporting is highly desired. Strong work ethic, attention to detail, enthusiasm, and ability to work in our growing and dynamic team are required.
